I’m Thomas, an award-winning documentary filmmaker, photographer and writer.

I have 10+ years of experience producing, directing, shooting and editing for commercial clients (National Geographic, Tesco, CNBC, American Express, BBC, the United Nations and many more). I am used to working with tight budgets and tighter deadlines, leading crew on larger productions or self-shooting smaller projects.

I directed feature-length documentary The Essex Ways in 2025.

As a writer, I develop original narrative projects for film and television. My feature film script Child of Rome was shortlisted for BAFTA Rocliffe 2024, and my television pilot Whalebone was one of the five Top Recommended scripts in Scribe Lounge Elevate 2026. I have co-written two anthology films released on Amazon Prime Video and a two-part travel documentary for Showcase TV.

I also write a regular non-fiction newsletter for 1,300+ subscribers worldwide.

I work with purpose-driven brands, publishers and charities to create full-service video productions and photography content. I’m always looking for exciting new projects.
